Refund Policy

Last updated: March 2025

1. Our Commitment to Transparency

Sparklink offers a permanently free plan so you can fully explore the platform before upgrading. Because you can test all core features at no cost, paid plan charges are non-refundable once processed. We believe this is fair — you should only pay when you are confident the product works for you.

2. Subscription & Billing

  • Paid plans (Pro: $9.99/month, Premium: $12.99/month) renew automatically each month on the same calendar date as your original subscription.
  • Billing is handled securely by Stripe — Sparklink does not store your payment card details.
  • You will receive an email receipt after each successful charge.
  • All prices are in USD. Your card issuer or bank applies the applicable exchange rate if you pay in another currency.

3. No-Refund Policy

All paid plan charges are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Charges for the current or any prior billing period.
  • Mid-cycle cancellations — you retain full access until your billing period ends (see Section 4), but the charge for that period is not refunded.
  • Accounts that upgrade to a paid plan, use Pro or Premium features, and subsequently request a refund.
  • Charges on accounts found to have violated our Terms of Service.

We encourage all users to stay on the free plan until they are ready. If you are unsure whether a paid plan is right for you, there is no pressure to upgrade.

4. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard (Settings → Subscription → Cancel).
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full Pro or Premium access until that date.
  • After cancellation, your account reverts to the free plan. Your portfolio, profile data, and settings are preserved.
  • Cancelling your subscription does not generate a refund for the current period.

5. UK Statutory Rights & Consumer Rights Act 2015

Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services purchased online. By subscribing to a paid Sparklink plan and proceeding through checkout, you expressly request that the service begins immediately. You acknowledge that, once you have accessed the paid features, your statutory right of withdrawal is waived in accordance with Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be waived or excluded.

6. Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged incorrectly — for example, charged twice or charged after a confirmed cancellation — please contact us at hello@sparklink.bio within 14 days of the charge. We will investigate promptly and correct any verified billing error.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us at hello@sparklink.bio before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. We resolve genuine billing issues promptly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension and could affect your ability to use Sparklink in the future.

8. Contact

For any billing question, email hello@sparklink.bio with the subject line: Billing — [your account email]. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Active paid subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days before any material change takes effect.
